![]() ![]() I just use sketchup because I'm quite advanced, but recently hit a snag here and I wonder if it's hardware related, oh and I'm coming from the mac world also. If I can't find a sketchup solution, what do you recommend converting to, 3DS max and Cinema 4D are my two initial options, as well as blender. It's super frustrating to have invested in a powerful machine described below and getting such lousy performance, even while in wireframe when running multiple 3D objects such as plants. I have scoured the web and it seems to me that it's not possible to have sketchup utilize your GPU, is this correct? Does anyone know any way to boost performance or utilized my RAM or GPU? ![]() If this can't be improved (Speed) I'm going to have to use another program for my purposes. I'm doing architectural modeling and rendering with V-Ray 5. ![]() Granted I am working on a large-ish model, in both size, polygons, and complexity, but I expected it to go faster than it is. ![]()
